ROBOTECH Site Visit – Episode 1 | Connecting the Upstream and Downstream of the Industry, Embarking on a New Journey Toward Large‑Scale Embodied Intelligence Deployment

In 2026, the embodied intelligence industry is accelerating its transition from laboratories to large‑scale real‑world deployment, with demand across industrial, commercial service, and special‑purpose scenarios continuing to surge. As a professional exhibition focused on embodied robotics applications and the industry chain, the 2026 Intelligent Robotics Expo (ROBOTECH) will be held from October 27‑29 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an) .

To precisely connect industry resources and listen to real frontline needs, the ROBOTECH project team recently visited multiple cities and conducted in‑depth interviews with six representative enterprises covering computing infrastructure, AI large models, robot OEMs, industry applications, and industrial ecosystems. Through face‑to‑face exchanges, we are gathering real demand and cooperation opportunities for the October show.

The ROBOTECH project team exchanged views with the Sitong Group team on the supporting role of AI computing infrastructure for the embodied intelligence industry. Both sides discussed the application needs of AI computing servers in robot model training, end‑cloud collaborative deployment, and other scenarios. Sitong Group expressed that it will continue to follow ROBOTECH 2026 and looks forward to leveraging the ROBOTECH platform to connect with more robotics companies and jointly promote the collaborative innovation of computing power and robotics hardware.

02 Guangzhou Yuexiu District Artificial Intelligence Industry Association

The Guangzhou Yuexiu District Artificial Intelligence Industry Association was established by several leading enterprises and brings together dozens of AI sector members, covering computing power, large‑model development, AIGC, and industry‑specific intelligent applications. It serves government, healthcare, commerce, and other sectors, acting as a bridge between government and enterprises, and regularly organizes industrial matching and technology exchange activities.

The project team had in‑depth discussions with the association's leadership on the current state of AI and robotics industry development in the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area. The association highly affirmed ROBOTECH's positioning of focusing on practical deployment applications. Both parties reached preliminary consensus on potential cooperation directions, including organizing member enterprise visits, co‑hosting industry forums, and supply‑demand business matching. The association will actively engage AI and robotics‑related enterprises in its jurisdiction to participate in the show, facilitating the flow of industrial resources across the Greater Bay Area.

03 Baidu

As a leading AI company in China, Baidu possesses core technologies such as the ERNIE large model and the Yijian visual intelligence platform, with deep technical reserves in multimodal large models, industrial vision, and embodied AI. It provides comprehensive AI solutions for manufacturing, industrial inspection, and other scenarios, offering technical support for robot perception and decision‑making.

The ROBOTECH project team visited Baidu's AI exhibition hall to observe real‑world cases in large models, industrial vision, and digital management of physical spaces, followed by a roundtable discussion. Both sides thoroughly exchanged views on topics such as large‑model empowerment of robot OEMs, industrial vision scenario deployment, supply‑chain demand matching, and ecosystem collaboration. The Baidu team shared their collaboration models for embodied AI, and both parties expressed expectations to leverage the ROBOTECH platform to connect Baidu's AI capabilities with robotics industry chain enterprises, explore joint scenario‑based projects, and jointly advance the embodied intelligence industry.

04 Jiyuan Zhihang

Beijing Jiyuan Zhihang Technology Co., Ltd. is an innovative enterprise focused on big data platform services for embodied intelligence. Its core R&D team originates from the Advanced Innovation Center for Big Data Science and Brain‑Computer Intelligence, with leading advantages in large‑model fine‑tuning tool development and full‑chain big data integration and governance. Positioned at the core of the embodied intelligence industry chain, Jiyuan Zhihang aims to build the world's most powerful embodied intelligence data foundation to lead the large‑scale deployment of physical‑world artificial intelligence.

The Jiyuan Zhihang team stated that data is the fundamental foundation for the iterative upgrade and large‑scale deployment of embodied intelligence, and the industry urgently needs standardized, high‑quality embodied data services to empower the entire chain. The project team visited the Qitian Robot team and focused on discussing the current market status of special‑purpose robots, technology iteration directions, and real pain points in high‑risk scenarios. The company shared its commercial deployment cases and expressed expectations to leverage the ROBOTECH platform to connect with end‑users such as industrial and chemical parks, expand ecosystem partners, and accelerate market promotion of special‑purpose robots.

The ROBOTECH project team will continue to deepen its engagement with the embodied intelligence industry, visiting more leading factories, innovative enterprises, and industry associations to gather real procurement needs, pre‑match upstream and downstream resources, enhance the effectiveness of business matching at the show, and provide exhibitors with an efficient and practical industry matching platform.
